PREVENTION through innovative VACCINES for EU aquaculture
Work Package 3 will develop vaccines to target two bacterial pathogens (Aeromonas veronii and Tenacibaculum maritimum), two viral pathogens (Nervous Necrosis Virus and Carp Edema Virus) and one fish parasite (Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae). These pathogens cause disease in common EU aquaculture species (European sea bass, gilthead sea bream, rainbow trout, Senegalese sole), focusing on 11 different vaccine formulations for the five pathogens.
