Dabie Hatchery was established in 2003 as a result of great passion and experience of two ichthyologists: Krzysztof Grecki and Jacek Juchniewicz. The Dabie Hatchery is the largest company in Poland and Central Europe producing eyed rainbow trout eggs, with an annual production of over 200,000,000 eggs. The operation process takes place in two highly specialized and modern farms: Dabie and Budowko located in the North of Poland.
The role of the Dabie Hatchery in the project is to provide rainbow trout for challenge experiments.
