Vetmeduni is the third-oldest institution of its kind worldwide. It provides world-class training to future veterinarians and conducts advanced research on behalf of animal and human health, in an interdisciplinary and international context.
Vetmeduni leads WP6 (Development of detection tools and technology for improved aquaculture health and welfare), contributes to Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae vaccine development as well as to innovations in the area of lab and on-farm culture and diagnostics tools.
